| Since inheriting American Civil War letters written by Garrett Shubert and by
Henry Shubert, Robert has been researching this branch of his family. The
Shubert branch of his family tree is outlined under Robert's Family Tree.
This Shubert Research portion of our web site is dedicated to presenting some
interesting documents such as the letters that Robert inherited. Over the
years he has also obtained copies of other letters and documents from his
Shubert cousins. Currently we have posted documents relating to the siblings: Their father was George Shubert. We do not know much about him. We do know that he died in 1840 in Portsmouth, Ohio.
